Andrew DavisonAndrew John Davison is currently the Head of Investment Consulting within Old Mutual Corporate Consultants. Andrew has 19 years’ experience in investments including investment product development at m Cubed, Scottish Life and Investec Asset Management. Andrew served on various boards of trustees and management committees of retirement funds, is a regular speaker on investment and retirement related topics at various industry conferences and forums. He is also a member of the Actuarial Society of South Africa and the Investment Committee of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
Arthi RabikrissonArthi Rabikrisson is currently a Business Development Executive for Institutional Distribution at OMIG. Her role entails assisting the Head of Institutional Distribution in setting the strategic direction for institutional distribution and actively implementing the route to market via targeted segments, thought leadership based market engagements and raising the profile of OM boutiques and their investment capabilities. Arthi joined Old Mutual in September 2013. Prior to this she worked in stockbroking since 2006.
Ashley LakeyAshley Lakey is currently a Legal Advisor within Product Legal at Old Mutual which entails Legal advice & support to the corporate administration and distribution teams, including non-standard contracts and the legal support to the production of master rules and sub-fund rules and other fund related agreements. Ashley finished his Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning with Cum Laude at the end of 2013 and successfully wrote his CFP board exam early in 2014. Ashley was also a finalist in the Product Solutions Green Lantern Awards in the ‘Service Excellence’ category, in 2013.
Ben Herman PieterseBen-Herman Pieterse is the Principal of Pieterse & Associates and a senior financial advisor at Old Mutual PFA. He started working for Old Mutual as academy advisor in 2006. Retirement Planning is part of his everyday work with clients, and has been on the advice side of personal and corporate benefits since he started at Old Mutual. Ben-Herman developed a keen interest in pension funds and group medical aids and currently service corporate clients under the Old Mutual SuperFund banner.
Ben-Herman is set to finish his Post-Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning at the end of
2014 and will write his CFP board exam early in 2015.
Christiaan MeiringChristiaan Jakobus Meiring is currently an Executive Financial Adviser at Old Mutual and has over 26 years of experience in retirement funds.
Christine GenisChristine Genis has been employed in the Employee Benefits industry in excess of 25 years. Christine started off her career at Old Mutual within fund administration & held various positions amongst others in a service delivery management capacity. Thereafter she specialised in training and process development – initially for Old Mutual and for a while in a private consultancy capacity, providing training and process consulting services to various companies. Christine returned to Old Mutual RFA as Training Consultant and moved into her current role as Corporate RFA Knowledge Manager. In this capacity, she consults widely on retirement fund matters across the organisation.
Cobus RothmanCobus Rothman is currently an Actuarial Manager in the Retail Savings Solutions team at Old Mutual, where he is responsible for the product development; management and marketing of the Retail Affluent savings and investments product range. Cobus is also representing the sponsor, to the Board of Trustees for the large retail pension fund of which all Retail Affluent and Retail Mass Market retirement annuity investors are members. Cobus is qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries in London in 2007 and specialised in the Investment practice area, a fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
Daniel HawkinsBarend Daniel Hawkins is currently a Senior Project Manager- Old Mutual Corporate. Barend has worked in the banking industry for 16 years and for 11 years; he worked in international Tax Reform (globally) where he assisted governments all over the world with tax reform, mostly from a technological perspective. Barend joined Old Mutual 4 years ago. He has a very detailed understanding of retirement funds as he has worked on the Mosaics to Umbrella as well as Project Gazebo.
Dennis MurrayDennis Murray is a  Actuarial Consultant at Old Mutual with over 13 years’ experience in the employee benefits environment, covering the actuarial and consulting areas. He has strong client facing and managerial skills and is comfortable operating at senior levels. He obtained strong actuarial and consulting work experience, on both defined benefit and defined contribution schemes, at Alexander Forbes Consultants and Actuaries, Glenrand MIB Benefit Services, Momentum and OMCC. Dennis Murray was also a Finalist – Old Mutual Corporate Excellence in 2011 and 2013.
Derrick Gerald MaubaneDerrick Gerald Maubane is currently an Old Mutual Financial Advisor in Risk Planning, Retirement Planning and Investment Planning. Derrick has obtained various qualifications including; Programme in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management.
Elizabeth PetersenElizabeth Petersen started at Old Mutual in October 2000 as a Customer Relationship Consultant in Employee Benefits. She is now in Retirement Fund Administration. Elizabeth did call centre work for about 5 years and worked in the Client Service Centre for 6 years. Elizabeth worked as a financial adviser in PFA and says she has had many successes in dealing with companies and pension fund queries.
Farouk ChoonaraFarouk Choonara is currently an Old Mutual PFA Worksite Advisor on policies, life cover, long and short term investment and retirement annuities.
Glynis PattersonGlynis Pattison is currently the General Manager Large Corporates, Old Mutual Corporate. In this role she is responsible for the growth and retention of Old Mutual Corporates’ business in respect of large corporate clients through both intermediated and direct channels. Glynis has been employed by Old Mutual for the last 30 years. Her work experience includes having worked in a variety of positions– actuarial (defined benefit valuations), administration, project management, staff training, account management, sales, channel management, and general management.
Hugh HackingHugh Hacking is currently the Head of Old Mutual Corporate Consultants. He is responsible for driving the business unit that delivers employee benefit, investment, communication and actuarial consulting services to Old Mutual’s institutional clients. Hugh graduated with distinction as an Electrical Engineer from the University of the Witwatersrand. After gaining experience in the manufacturing industries he moved to the financial services industry. He then completed his MBA from Herriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. Thereafter he moved into the employee benefits business where he managed the development of Old Mutual’s multi-employer retirement funds.
Isgak Du ToitIsgak Du Toit is currently a Corporate Financial Advisor at Urban Hub. Isgak started at Old Mutual in 2006 as a Personal Financial Advisor. His accreditations include, Old Mutual SuperFund and certificate in Financial Planning.
Jeff OsrinJeff Osrin is currently a senior business support specialist on the OMCS RFA BSS Service Desk doing first tier support for all Retirement Funds on the compass platform on which the staff funds operates. Jeff started his career at Old Mutual in November 1995 as a Fund Accountant for the Barlows and SAB Group. He was also involved in the coding of compass platform per the rules of Retirement funds that Old Mutual Administer.
Juanita PretoriusJuanita Pretorius is currently a Regional Manager within Old Mutual Corporate, responsible for new business sales and the retention of existing business in the Central and Northern Regions of South Africa. Juanita has been involved in financial services for 20 years and has worked in the retail insurance and retirement fund businesses as a Legal Adviser, Broker Consultant, Business Development Manager, Channel Manager and Regional Manager.
Julian StubbsJulian Stubbs is currently a Business Specialist looking after the correspondence capability in the OMEM CST business unit. Julian has been with Old Mutual for 20 years in various capacities, mostly in specialist roles. He holds an Education qualification but has managed to complete many business related courses through Old Mutual, including Prince 2 Project Management Practitioner. Julian has represented servicing on many legislative projects including Statement of Intent, Divorce Orders, Commutation of Small Annuities, Protection of Personal Information and is currently the focus group lead for Outcome 3 on the Treating Customers Fairly project.
Lovemore SitholeLovemore Sithole is currently a Technical Specialist within Fairbairn Capital in Old Mutual. He has various qualifications including, Intermediate Certificate of Insurance, Financial Markets and is an associate lecturer at TSIBA. Lovemore has experience in dealing in all retirement funds (Retirement Growth and Post Retirement), interacts with the FSB on Transfers (Section 14 and Directive 135, Section 37), Asset allocation and Asset Swapping valuations.
Martin PooleMartin Poole is currently an Institutional Asset Consultant within OMCC, consulting to large institutional funds such as retirement funds (both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution) on setting objectives, modelling outcomes, manager selection and asset allocation as well as monitoring and reporting to management committees and members. Martin has been part of Acsis (now OMCC) for 8 years. Prior to this he consulted to Telkom SA on satellite communication technology and demand forecasting, bringing his total financial services experience to 10 years. Martin also serves on the board of the CFA society of South Africa with a focus on ethics and advocacy.
Marvin KgomoMarvin Kgomo is currently a Senior Client Service Consultant – Client Service and operations & Administration within OMSA, based in Polokwane. Marvin started working for Old Mutual in 1988 and has a broad knowledge on policy-related matters and retirement fund administration.
Noma-Afrika JakujaNoma – Afrika African Jakuja is a Financial Advisor (Team leader) at Old Mutual, her duties include advising clients with their finances and assisting them with policies as well as monitor clients life changes financially. Noma-Afrika African has a Diploma in Accounting and Financial Computing.
Paul BruwerPaul Bruwer is currently working for Old Mutual PFA as an Executive Sales Manager in Klerksdorp. Paul is accredited for various investment courses such as: Investment Planning, Old Mutual Wealth Preservation, SuperFund Choice and SuperFund Easy. In 2011, Paul was in the Top 10 for Executive Sales Managers in the country.
Paul RistPaul Rist joined Old Mutual in 1986 and is currently a Forensic Manager in Group Forensic Services. Paul’s career started in Client Services, at a number of Client Service Offices across the country. Paul served as a member elected trustee on the Old Mutual Staff Retirement Fund and chaired the Claims Committee. He was also entrusted with the responsibility of approving the day-to day expenses of the fund.
Richard MoabeloRichard Moabelo is currently working within PFA in Polokwane. Richard is accredited for Employee Benefits, Advanced Retirement Investment Planning. He is also the Chairperson of Club 51 and the General Purpose fund Chairperson.
Shari MatteraShari Mattera is currently a Sponsorships and Events Consultant at Old Mutual. She is a custodian of a portfolio of R7million; additionally she performs her role in the Western Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. Shari has approximately 10 years’ experience in the events, sponsorship and strategic marketing roles.
Tracey le RouxTracey le Roux has been in the investment industry since 1992. In May 2009 Tracey joined the Compliance Team of OMIG as a Senior Compliance Officer. Tracey was also an alternate employee nominated trustee on the Old Mutual Staff Retirement Fund from January 2012. She was a member of both the Governance and Investment Sub Committees. Tracey was nominated by her fellow trustees to be part of the OMSRF Transition Committee ensuring the smooth process into the OM SuperFund.
Trevor PascoeTrevor Pascoe is currently the Head of Old Mutual Multi-Managers; responsible for the management of the multi-manager capability for Old Mutual that provides investment solutions for Old Mutual Wealth and Old Mutual Corporate. The business is a combination of the Symmetry and Acsis investment divisions. Trevor was a Member elected trustee of OMSRF – 2002 to 2007. Trevor is also a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa, the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, council member on Actuarial Society of South Africa since Jan 2013.
Vernon BoulleVernon Boulle is currently Head of Product Development and Linked Funds within Old Mutual Wealth. His career started at Norwich Life where he qualified as an actuary in 1989 before moving to London to work for a reinsurance company. He worked on the BoE / Nedbank / Old Mutual reorganisation following Nedbank’s acquisition of BoE before leaving to work for himself, doing software development, actuarial consulting, and corporate finance work. Vernon is chairperson of the SIS retirement funds and is a member of the Policyholder Investment Committee.
Warren AdamsWarren Adams is currently employed as a Client Relations Manager within Old Mutual, Wealth. With more than 10 years’ experience within Old Mutual, Warren has been successful within his role that requires the ability to gain commitment and the application of solid technical knowledge of the Investment and Retirement funded business. It has given him the opportunity to be exposed to the Long Term Insurance Act, Pension Funds Act and death/ill health claim processes.
Wayne MasekoWayne Maseko is currently an Area Manager (RMM) at Old Mutual, who is responsible for managing area budget, services delivery through a team of sales/branch managers, HR for his area as well as day –to –day staff administration. Wayne has over 18 years of service experience in the insurance industry.
